  1. 1. Do you have pages that would rank if they had more authority?

Comparison, alternatives or integration pages with real substance behind them.

  2. 2. If that page were ranking third today, would it convert?

Be honest. This is the question that decides whether links are the constraint.

  3. 3. What can you commit monthly for at least six months?

Six months, because ranking movement takes four to six.

  4. 4. What is a customer worth to you over their lifetime?
  5. 5. How long before someone asks whether this is working?
  6. 6. Who will check the quality of the links you buy?

Somebody internal has to own this or the engagement drifts.

  7. 7. Do you know how many referring domains the top-ranking pages have?
  8. 8. Have you bought links before?

Questions

About this assessment

What it scores, and why it is willing to talk you out of spending money.

Will this quiz tell me not to hire an agency?

Yes, and it does so often. Two answers trigger it regardless of the rest: a target page that would not convert at position three, and a budget under $2,000 combined with a one-quarter horizon. Both are situations where a link programme fails for reasons no agency can fix.

How is the result calculated?

Each answer carries a score reflecting how much it predicts a successful link programme — pages worth ranking, budget that clears the competitive floor, a realistic horizon and internal ownership of quality. Two answers act as hard stops that override the total.

Do I need to give my email?

No. The result appears immediately. The form afterwards is optional and only sends a written version you can share internally.
